Desription

Jonathan Hunt is a young American journalist whose mother was born in Hungary. After her death he decides to visit the country, for the first time in his life. His destination is the picturesque town of Eger, the site of his favorite childhood reading ’The Eclipse of the Crescent Moon’, a Hungarian book given to him by his grandfather. But he has another reason as well to go there.

Two old letters were hidden in that old book, both written by an odd Hungarian scientist, a certain professor Ábray, back in 1898. After arriving in Eger, Jonathan begins his search for Ábray’s descendants. He feels the old novel coming to life in the city, but there is something peculiar about a ring which was a key element in the plot. Jonathan realizes that his investigation is not welcomed by everyone. However, he firmly decides to get to the bottom of this and find out whether the mysterious ring really existed. While trying to decipher secret messages from the past he gets increasingly mesmerized by the legend of the ring…

The book is based on the original computer game and is the first Jonathan Hunt adventure.
